Culpepper signs one-year contract with the Oakland Raiders

Daunte Culpepper’s NFL unemployment didn’t last for long. The former Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins quarterback has joined the Oakland Raiders on a one-year deal. He will compete with Josh McCown and Andrew Walter for a starting spot.
Last year Culpepper, who was plagued with injuries, only played four games for the Dolphins, throwing for 929 yards and two touchdowns.
He had issues with his mobility and was sacked 21 times and threw three interceptions. The Fish were 1-3 with Culpepper as a starter.
